The Cooks standard multi-clad stainless cookware features an air-flow technology that keeps the handle cooler than the typical handle type. The cookware is constructed with a 3-layer clad metal: the interior lining is made of premium-grade 18-10 stainless steel, the core is a multi-element alloy aluminum for superior heat distribution, and the aluminum core extends from the bottom all the way to the sidewall. While stainless steel does not transmit heat quickly, aluminum is highly conductive, providing even heat distribution. Aluminum is a soft metal that dents easily, while stainless steel is hard and strong, giving the cookware the toughness of stainless steel with the even heat distribution of aluminum. The exterior has a scratch-resistant brushed treatment, and the bottom is compatible with conduction stovetops. This cookware is also dishwasher safe.
The 18/10 Stainless Steel Stockpot is an 8-quart multi-ply full-clad 18/10 stainless steel stockpot, measuring 9.5 inches in diameter and 6.6 inches in depth. The Tri-Ply Clad Sturdy Construction of the stainless steel stockpot is made of high-grade stainless steel, with an 18/10 stainless steel interior/exterior and an aluminum core throughout.
The Tri-Ply Clad Aluminum core ensures even and quick heat distribution, with excellent heat conduction. This more even heat distribution reduces hot spots that can burn foods, making the cooking process more efficient. The cookware features comfortable soft-touch handles that stay cool during use, and secure-fitting lids that trap in heat and moisture to seal in flavor.
This cookware is widely compatible, working on most stovetops, including induction, gas, electric, glass, ceramic, and halogen. It is also dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 500°F.
